Abstract:
This work deals with voltage control at a bus
connecting two electric energy exchange areas. The voltage control is
realized by a current controlled inverter rather then by standard static
var compensator. The paper resents all needed theoretical developments
and gives in details the space vector model of the whole structure of
the studied power system configuration. Its shows in particular how to
compute a current control law to realise an adequate voltage profile at
the connecting bus. The established voltage control approach uses a
predefined static control curve to be tracked in dynamic state by the
regulator. Somme simulation illustrations are given to evaluate the
performance of the proposed algorithm.
