Abstract

This paper proposes robust adaptive fuzzy controller for unknown nonlinear systems with disturbances. The control law is composed of primary and auxiliary control terms. The first term is based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy approach with feedback linearization method. The second term is obtained by combining the Sliding Mode Control (SMC) and Lyapunov approach to compensate the unmodeled dynamics and disturbance effects. The stability of the system has been achieved considering a Lyapunov approach. The capability of the proposed method is illustrated through two numerical examples.
