Prof. Dr.
Abu H. M. A. Rahim
did his Ph.D. from the University of Alberta, Edmonton,
Canada in 1972. Since his Ph.D., he has worked at the
University of Alberta, Bangladesh University of Engineering,
University of Strathclyde (Glasgow), University of Bahrain,
DeVry Institute of Technology, Calgary and at the
University of CalgaryDr. Rahim is presently working at the
King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran
where he is a Professor. Dr. Rahim's main fields of interest
are power system stability, control and application of
artificial intelligence to power systems. Dr. Rahim is a
senior member of the IEEE and Fellow of the Institute of
Engineers, Bangladesh.
