Biography:

Noureddine Zahid holds "Doctorat de Troisième Cycle" and "Doctorat d'Etat" degrees in Electronics Engineering and Informatics; all form the Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco. He was an Assistant Professor in computer science at the Department of Physics between 1988 and 1999, and Professor "Habilité" between 1999 and 2003. In 2003, he was promoted to the position of Professor in the same department. He is a member of Conception and Systems Laboratory. He is the co-founder and the current Chair of the Informatics Telecommunications and Imagery master (ITI) in the Faculty of Science in Rabat. He has presented and published many articles in scienti c journals and conferences. He has reviewed numerous papers for international journals in the field of fuzzy systems and pattern recognition. His research interests lie in the areas of fuzzy logic, pattern recognition, machine learning and biometric.
