Title:

Authors:

Abstract:
In this paper we introduce the genetic algorithms to compute the optimal parameters for the Backstepping controller for non linear multivariable systems. Generally, parameters are chosen arbitrarily, so in several cases this choice can be tedious ,even, the stability can’t achieved when the parameters are ill chosen . An optimal design is to introduce an optimization algorithms like genetic algorithms in order to find the optimal parameters which minimized a cost function defined as an error quadratic function. The method is tested for two systems: the two linked inverted pendulums and waste treatment station .
