Title:
Large scale discrete LQP with system constraints

Abstract:
In this paper, large scale discrete-time linear invariant quadratic control problem (LQP) with inputs and/or state constraints is investigated. After decomposing the system into N-subsystems, a multilevel technique, which satisfies both the necessary conditions of optimality and system constraints, is proposed to solve the problem. The convergence behavior of the developed algorithm is rigorously studied and factors affecting its behavior are analyzed. Illustrative examples are provided to demonstrate the performance of the developed technique.
