Abstract: This paper presents the control of BLDC motor using resonant pole inverter. This inverter possesses the advantages of low switching power loss, low inductor power loss, low device voltage stress and simple control scheme. The operation principle of the inverter is analyzed. The control circuit for this inverter is also proposed. The simulation results of the proposed inverter are also presented. The performance characteristics of the proposed inverter are also analyzed for variable pulse width method.
