Title: A Robust Decentralized Control with Unknown Interconnections

Abstract: A completely decentralized adaptive fuzzy control designed procedure is proposed for a class of large-scale nonlinear systems with the strong interconnections. The feedback and adaptive mechanisms for each subsystem depend only upon local measurements to provide asymptotic tracking of a reference trajectory. The proposed controller maintains the closed-loop stability and compensates the interconnections among subsystems. In addition, each subsystem is able to adaptively compensate the interconnections without known bounds i.e. the interconnection terms are predicted by using the orthogonal basis. The proposed adaptive algorithm is implemented in simulation to stabilize an interconnected double inverted pendulum.
