Title: ANFIS based Controller Design for Nonlinear Semi-Active Macpherson Vehicle Suspension

Abstract: A Neuro-Fuzzy control system for a semi-active MacPherson suspension designed. The linearize MacPherson quarter car model controlled by using LQR method. The obtained feedback gain integrated with the nonlinear MacPherson model. Then, we obtained the acceleration of sprung mass and the angular displacement of the control arm. Based on desired acceleration of sprung mass and angular displacement of the control arm, the damping force predicted from Neuro-Fuzzy controller. The voltage required to determine the MR damper force estimated from the Neuro-Fuzzy inverse model for the MR damper. Results show that the Neuro-fuzzy control system improved the ride quality in comparison to the passive system.
