Title:
Optimized Fuzzy Control Relying on Heuristic GA for Speed Control of BLDC Motors

Abstract:
This paper presents, Fuzzy Controller (FC) based upon genetic algorithm (GA). The objective of the FC based upon GA is to improve the performance of Brushless DC (BLDC) motor by minimize (rise time, steady state error, setting time and maximum overshoot). GA is employed for adjusting membership functions of the fuzzy controller inputs and output. The presented simulation results reveal that fuzzy controller based GA has better performance compared with the PID controller. Matlab - Simulink methodology is utilized for testing this controller.
