Title: Integrating Fuzzy Approach and History Knowledge To Create An Intelligent Processor For A Human-Robot Interface
Authors: Shaidah Jusoh and Fangju Wang and Simon X. Yang
Abstract: In the near future, mobile service robots are expected to assist people in ordinary environments such as houses or offices. Such situations require natural interaction between people and the robots. One way to facilitate this is by using natural language interfaces (NLIs). The major problem with natural language is that it is often ambiguous. Up to now, there is no existing an NLI processor that can well solve the ambiguity problems for human-robot interface. In this paper, a new technique that can be used to create NLI processor to better solve the mentioned problem is presented. The technique is an integration of fuzzy approach and history knowledge. The use of history knowledge is an innovation in this work.
