Title: An ant algorithm for the robust coloring problem

Abstract: In this paper we present an ant algorithm, which is a multi-agent system based on the parallel search idea for the robust coloring problem, which is a generalization of the graph coloring problem. We introduce a new possible application. We show the results obtained and the average rigidity of colorings improves the last known rigidity of colorings obtained with a simulated annealing algorithm.
