Title: Particle Swarm Optimization of linguistic Fuzzy Controller for Professional Speed Control of BLDC Motors

Abstract: This paper presents, fuzzy controller (FC) based particle swarm optimization (PSO) for improving the Brushless DC (BLDC) Motor performance. The objective of the FC based upon PSO is to improve the performance of Brushless DC (BLDC) motor by minimize (rise time, steady state error, setting time and maximum overshoot). The PSO is used to adjust the inputs and output membership functions of the fuzzy controller. The presented simulation results illustrate that the fuzzy controller based PSO has a better performance compared with the PID controller. Matlab - Simulink methodology is utilized for testing this controller.
