Title: Towards a hybrid University to achieve globalization

Abstract: This paper discusses the introduction of e-learning and virtual classroom concepts to an existing traditional university. The sub-goal is to transform it to a hybrid; virtual/classical university. While the goal is to achieve student mobility in a global educational environment. In fact few universities have been and will be created from scratch to be virtual. The high impact is in existing traditional ones. For educational and social reasons, we prefer the hybrid (virtual/traditional) solution. These reasons will not be discussed here. On the other hand, this paper focuses on the methodology and technical issues related to the introduction of the above mentioned concepts to existing universities.
