| Abstract: | The chief advancement of medical imaging gains great assistant for accurate and efficient diagnosis over a brief period of time. Analysis of medical image processing and analysis became a dynamic energetic research field in the phenomenon. In view of the fact that manual processes are tedious for processing of large data and it is need for automatic processing that helps the public. Many kind of medical images do not demonstrate the regions of smooth and uniform intensities but it handles the random patterns and structures. Therefore, it is necessary to use the statistical methods to analyze, process and evaluate it. For this purpose, this paper elucidates and presents the six main approaches of (1) Noise Reduction (NR) (2) Dimensionality Reduction Process (3) Enhanced Morphology Tracing Method (Measure the lumen diameter and Lumen Eccentricity calculation) (4) Evaluation of Parameters (5) Performance validation and (6) Statistical analysis. Hence, the Cross-sectional IVUS image acts as input for analyzing the plaque layer. The proposed method is used to analyze the boundary information such as location and coordinates to preserve the disjoint objects in the foreground. Based on lumen shape, the disk shape structuring element is created to preserve the circular nature of the object where obtaining the Radius information from the internal behavior of the IVUS image regions. The proposed method achieves an accuracy of 98.8% based on the Enhanced Morphology Tracing Method.
