Title: QRD-RLS Adaptive Filter Based Antenna Beamforming for OFDM Systems

Abstract: This paper presents a novel technique for the antenna beamforming in high data rate OFDM systems. The technique makes use of the QR decomposition-based recursive least square (RLS) algorithm using Given Rotation.. A fixed-point model of the overall architecture is created in Matlab for four sensor elements and is then simulated. The VHDL code is then written to describe the architecture of the overall design and is then synthesized using Xilinx ISE 10.1 software for Virtex-4 target device.
